Portfolio Manager
Jason specializes in derivative instruments and quantitative strategies, managing multiple structured-product portfolios. He also leads the development of portfolio analytics and systematic overlay strategies using cutting-edge technology and quantitative methods to analyze the asset mix and risks at the total fund level.
Jason has a breadth of experience in both the buy-side and sell-side of capital markets, including the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and TD Securities. Before joining Purpose, he was the Manager of Market Intelligence at an upstart stock exchange, the NEO Exchange.
Jason has a Master of Mathematical Finance degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo, where he majored in Actuarial Science. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
